For the upcoming Summer Camp at our San Francisco location starting on June 29 until July 31, 2026, we are looking for:

Camp Teachers (Preschool and Kindergarten)

The GISSV Summer Camp is looking for applicants to teach in Preschool and Kindergarten. This is a temporary position for at least 2 to a maximum of 5 weeks during summer break. Work hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday through Friday) and participation in teachers meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging, and developmentally suitable activities for children ages 2 to 6.
Deliver high-quality instruction in Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms.
Conduct morning and afternoon enrichment and recreational activities, promoting creativity, collaboration, and social-emotional growth.
Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and program leadership.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, participate in planning meetings, and contribute to program improvement.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, following all safety guidelines and policies.

Experience and Qualifications:

Degree in Early Childhood Education (B.A.), min. 12 ECE Credits or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool environment. Experience in a bilingual environment is a plus.
Extensive expertise in working with children ages 2 to 6.
Experience with differentiated instruction to support each child’s unique development with knowledge, empathy, and sensitivity.
International experience is advantageous.
Proficient in English. German is a plus.

FLSA Classification: Non-exempt (Hourly)

Reports To: Head of Auxiliary Programs

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour worked, depending on experience

Full-Time/Part-Time: 30 hours per week

Location: San Francisco, CA
